Total Voting Rights April 1, 2015 - Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG) (the "Company"), inaccordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's (the "FCA") Disclosure andTransparency Rule 5.6.1R, notifies the market of the following: As at March 31, 2015, the Company's issued ordinary share capital comprised591,485,080 ordinary shares of 5 pence each with voting rights and a further8,743,057 ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 591,485,080. Thisis the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
