Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency rule 5.6.1, Whitbread PLC is required to notify the market of the following:
At the close of business on the 30 September 2011, Whitbread PLC had 191,517,796 ordinary shares in issue, of which 14,251,806 were held in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Whitbread PLC was 177,265,990. The ordinary shares have a nominal value of 76 122/153p each.
The above figure of 177,265,990 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest, in Whitbread PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
