In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following:
Spectris plc's capital consists of 125,005,123 ordinary shares with voting rights. There are 212,440 ordinary shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Spectris plc is 125,005,123.
The above figure (125,005,123) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Spectris plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
