AMEC plc (the "Company") - Total Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:
As at 31 July 2012, the Company's registered capital consists of 322,939,275 ordinary shares, of which 6,354,284 are registered as Treasury Shares, leaving a balance of 316,584,991 shares with voting rights.
The figure of 316,584,991 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, AMEC plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
