Tate & Lyle PLC Voting Rights and Capital In conformity with Paragraph 5.6.1R of the FSA's Disclosure and TransparencyRules, Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") would like to notify the market of thefollowing: The Company's issued capital as at 31 May 2008 consisted of 459,931,872 ordinaryshares of which 1,761,017 were held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company as at 31 May 2008was 458,170,855 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominatorfor the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in, Tate & Lyle PLC under theFSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
