Tanzania Gold PLC12 February 2007 12 February 2007 Tanzania Gold Plc ("Tanzania Gold" or "the Company") Voting Rights and Share Capital Following the recent issue of shares by Tanzania Gold and in conformity with theTransparency Directive's transitional provision 6, the Company would like tonotify the market of the following: - Tanzania Gold's issued share capital now consists of 24,524,345 ordinaryshares of 0.2 pence each; and - Tanzania Gold does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Tanzania Gold is 24,524,345. The above figure (24,524,345) may be used by shareholders as the denominator forthe calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in, Tanzania Gold under theFSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
