In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, United Business Media plc today announces the following:
As at 30 April 2008, the company's issued share capital consists of 243,580,518 ordinary shares (with a nominal value of 33 71/88p each) with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in United Business Media plc is 243,580,518.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, United Business Media plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
