Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we would like to notify the market of the following:
Mitchells & Butlers plc's capital consists of 403,779,693 ordinary shares of 8 13/24p each with voting rights. Mitchells & Butlers plc holds 103,324 shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of listed voting rights in Mitchells & Butlers is 403,676,369.
The above figure (403,676,369) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Mitchells & Butlers plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
