Following the completion of the acquisition of Spirit Pub Company plc by way of a scheme of arrangement, we would like to notify the market of the capital of Greene King plc as at 25 June 2015.

Greene King plc's capital consists of 308,835,648 ordinary shares with voting rights. Greene King plc holds 132,980 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Greene King plc is 308,702,668.

The above figure of 308,702,668 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Greene King plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
