Total Voting Rights

Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("Aberdeen")

In accordance with rules 5.6.1 and 5.6.1A of the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rules we would like to notify the market of the following:

Aberdeen's issued share capital consists of 1,314,303,666 ordinary shares with voting rights. Aberdeen does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.

There are also 2,258,465 ordinary shares under option which if exercised (in accordance with their terms) would result in a further 2,258,465 ordinary shares in issue with voting rights.

The above figure of 1,314,303,666 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Aberdeen under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
