Total Voting Rights June 3, 2013 - Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG) (the "Company"), inaccordance with DTR 5.6.1 of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules,notifies the market of the following: At close of business on May 31, 2013, the Company's issued ordinary sharecapital comprised 554,028,880 ordinary shares of 5 pence each with votingrights and a further 8,809,164 ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 554,028,880.
