London, 2 January 2015: Ophir notifies the market that, the Company's issued share capital as at close of business on 31 December 2014 was 593,326,444 ordinary shares of £0.0025 each. The Company holds, or will hold 14,910,114 ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore, as at 2 January 2015, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 578,416,330.

Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR").

This announcement is in conformity with DTR 5.6.1.
