Ashtead Group plc announces it has today been notified by Lloyds TSB Group plc that as at 14th March 2007 it was interested in a total of 19,025,835 shares (or 3.39% of its share capital). The reason for the notification is for transparency purposes under DTR5 and not due to any market transactions.
