Total Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Close Brothers Group plc ("CBG") notify the market that as at 30 May 2008:
The CBG issued share capital consists of 149,377,672 ordinary shares of 25p each with one voting right per share. There are no shares held in treasury.
The total number of shares in issue in CBG with voting rights is therefore 149,377,672.
The above figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, CBG under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
