Chemring Group PLC(the "Company") Share Split and Total Voting Rights
The Company is pleased to announce that, following the passing of all resolutions at the Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, 24 March 2011, the proposed share split has today become effective. As a result the Company's listing on the Official List and the main market of the London Stock Exchange has been amended, as of 8.00 a.m. on 28 March 2011, to reflect that the Company's issued share capital now consists of 177,953,990 ordinary shares of one pence with voting rights. The Company's issued share capital also consists of 62,500 £1 cumulative preference shares with no voting rights, save in specified limited circumstances, to which there has been no amendment as a result of the share split. Chemring Group PLC holds 1,043,145 ordinary shares in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 176,910,845.
The above figure (176,910,845) should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
