Scottish & Southern Energy PLC13 December 2007 Scottish and Southern Energy plc - Voting Rights and Capital In relation to the previous announcement released on 30 November 2007, theCompany has been subsequently notified by its Registrar, Computershare InvestorServices, that a further 52,222 Ordinary shares were issued on 30 November 2007due to a conversion of a financial bond. The revised figure of 863,863,087ordinary shares should be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
