Sports Direct International Plc29 March 2007 Sports Direct International plc (the "Company") Voting Rights and Capital as at 29 March 2007. This announcement is made in accordance with DTR 5.6. On 2 March 2007 Sports Direct International plc was admitted to trading on theLondon Stock Exchange. Following the expiry of the period for stabilisation in connection with theinitial public offering on 28 March 2007, and receipt of confirmation fromMerrill Lynch International that is not going to exercise the over-allotmentoption granted to it by the Company in connection with such stabilisation, andpursuant to the terms of the acquisition agreement between Sports DirectInternational plc and Mike Ashley dated 1 February 2007 relating to theacquisition by the Company of Sports World International Limited, Sports DirectInternational plc have issued and allotted a further 46,440,000 ordinary sharesof 10p each to Mike Ashley. Accordingly, as at 29 March 2007, Sports Direct International plc's issued sharecapital consisted of 720,000,000 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Sports Direct International plcis 720,000,000. The above figure (720,000,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominatorfor the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in, Sports Direct Internationalplc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
