Grupo Clarin S.A.07 January 2008 GRUPO CLARIN S.A. Notification of Change in Voting Rights and Composition of Holding of Voting Rights Grupo Clarin S.A. was informed on 2nd January 2008 that one of its controllingshareholders, Mrs. Ernestina Laura Herrera de Noble, has reallocated herholdings of Grupo Clarin S.A. as described below (the "Reallocation"). The Reallocation involves the transfer of all Class B Shares of Grupo Clarin andall shares of GC Dominio S.A. (holder of all Class A Shares of Grupo ClarinS.A.) held by Mrs. Ernestina Laura Herrera de Noble to the ELHN - Grupo ClarinNew York Trust, of which Mrs. Herrera de Noble is the beneficiary. The total voting rights of Mrs. Ernestina Laura Herrera de Noble remainunchanged as a result of the Reallocation, but the direct voting rights of Mrs.Ernestina Laura Herrera de Noble have decreased. The Company understands from Mrs. Ernestina Laura Herrera de Noble that thetransfers to the trust are part of a restructuring of her direct and indirectpersonal interest in Grupo Clarin S.A., to be carried out in several stages,which commenced in December 2007 and will continue throughout 2008. The Companyhas been informed that the Reallocation has no economic effects or effects onthe voting structure of Grupo Clarin S.A., and that the Reallocation does notinvolve and is not intended as a preparation for, any change in the ultimateholding and control structure of Grupo Clarin S.A.
