The total number of Shares in issue which are both admitted to trading on theIrish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange and carry voting rights is34,164,476. This number may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest, or a change to their interest, in FBD Holdings plc. Section 209 (3) of the Companies Act, 1990 effectively suspends any votingrights attaching to the 1,296,730 treasury shares for so long as they are heldin treasury.
