Gleeson(M J)Group PLC07 February 2007 M J GLEESON GROUP PLC (the "Company") 7 February 2007 Total Voting Rights In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, theCompany notifies the market of the following: As at the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital consistsof 51,979,501 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 2 pence each ("OrdinaryShares". Of this total, 90,693 Ordinary shares are held on behalf of Hill SamuelOffshore Trust Company Limited in their capacity as trustees of the Company'semployee share schemes and these shares do not carry voting rights. The Companydoes not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is 51,888,808. The above figure of 51,979,501 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders inthe Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determineif they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interestin, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and TransparencyRules.
