Total Voting Rights and Capital

Following the announcement made by the company on 9 September 2011 in which the company announced details of an additional 900,000 shares having being purchased on 16 August 2011 pursuant to the share buy back programme, the company now announces that its total voting rights announcement on 1 September 2011 is hereby amended to reflect that the fact that those 900,000 shares had been cancelled prior to that date and, therefore, as at 1 September 2011 the total number of voting rights relating to the Company's share capital was 2,574,816,529.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
