Cable & Wireless PLC01 June 2007 Cable and Wireless plcTotal Voting Rights: Month-end Disclosure Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company") confirms that on 31 May 2007, its issuedshare capital consisted of 2,461,709,593 Ordinary Shares of 25p nominal valuewith voting rights ("Ordinary Shares"). The Company continues to hold 74,950,000 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. All changes to the Company's issued share capital since 30 April 2007 relate tothe exercise of employee share options. Therefore, as at 31 May 2007 the total number of voting rights in the Company is2,386,759,593. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR").
