Total Voting Rights and Substantial Shareholder Notice
Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM / ASX: CFU) announces that due to the increase in the number of shares in issue resulting from the placing announced on 2 May 2008, the Company has 344,745,674 ordinary shares of nil par value with voting rights in issue. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 344,745,674. The Company does not hold any shares as treasury shares.
The Company has been notified by the following shareholders that the shareholder's interest in the Company has changed. Under Australian law shareholders with more than 5% interest in the Company have to notify the Company (or ASX) if their interest changes by 1% or more.
The Aegon UK group of companies notified the Company on 9 May 2008 that it subscribed for 2,500,000 new shares in the recent placing and that its interest changed from 14.3% to 13.1% as a result; Woodside Energy Limited notified ASX on 13 May that its interest changed 12.3% to 11.1%; and Energex Limited notified ASX on 12 May that its interest changed from 11.9% to 10.7%."
