In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we would like to notify the market of the following:
Mitchells & Butlers plc's capital consists of 407,711,284 ordinary shares of 8 13/24p each. Mitchells & Butlers plc holds 429 shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of listed voting rights in Mitchells & Butlers plc is 407,710,855.
The above figure of 407,710,855 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Mitchells & Butlers plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
