In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, United Business Media plc today announces the following:
As at the date of this announcement, the company's issued share capital consists of 243,781,914 ordinary shares (with a nominal value of 33 71/88p each) with voting rights. No ordinary shares are held in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in United Business Media plc is 243,781,914.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, United Business Media plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
