278,485,071 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each. None of these Ordinary Shares is held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of Vesuvius plc shares with voting rights is 278,485,071.

The above figure of 278,485,071 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Vesuvius plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
