Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company notifies the market of the following: 

As at 29 March 2018, the capital with voting rights of Witan Investment Trust plc consisted of 178,254,161 ordinary shares of 25p each. On a poll, members have one vote for every £1 in nominal value (ie four shares are required per vote). Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Witan Investment Trust plc is 44,563,540. The Company has 21,816,839 shares held in treasury. 

The figure above may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the voting rights of Witan Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
