Phytopharm PLC04 December 2007 4 December 2007 In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules sourcebooktransitional provision 6, Phytopharm plc ("Phytopharm") hereby notifies themarket of the following; Phytopharm's issued share capital at 30 November 2007 consisted of 55,607,603ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company did not, at that date, hold anyshares in Treasury, and therefore, the total number of ordinary shares in theCompany with voting rights was 55,607,603 The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, Phytopharm plc under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
