CANDOVER INVESTMENTS PLC (the "Company")
This announcement is issued in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
As at the date of this announcement the Company's issued share capital consists of 21,853,615 Ordinary Shares with a nominal value of 25 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"). A further 3,000 Ordinary Shares are held in treasury.
As previously notified to the market, the Company is in the course of purchasing an additional 40,000 Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury. These purchases are due to complete in December 2008.
The above figure of 21,853,615 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
