The Company announces that it has today issued 209,697 of its ordinary shares of one penny each ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to its scrip dividend scheme as announced on 5 April 2023.

The Company confirms that as at 5 May 2023, the issued share capital of the Company consisted of 556,415,230 Ordinary Shares with each Ordinary Share carrying one voting right.

The Company holds 7,019,146 Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 549,396,084. This figure (549,396,084) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
