Stagecoach Group PLC02 October 2007 Headline Total Voting Rights-CorrectionReleased 2 October 2007 The announcement by Stagecoach Group plc on 28 September 2007 of its totalvoting rights incorrectly stated the split between shares held by employeebenefit trusts and shares held by others. The total number of voting rights wascorrectly stated. The corrected announcement is as below: In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure andTransparency Rules, the issued share capital of Stagecoach Group plc as at 27September 2007 was as follows: Ordinary shares of 56/57th pence each Shares held by Stagecoach Group employee benefit trusts* 5,703,974 Other shares 706,514,946 Total shares in issue as at 27 September 2007 712,218,920 * The Ordinary Shares held by Stagecoach Group employee benefit trusts do notrank for dividend. Each Ordinary Share in issue carries one vote in the eventof a poll of shareholders. No shares are held by Stagecoach Group plc inTreasury. The total shares in issue has changed since 30 August 2007 as aresult of shares issued to satisfy the exercise of share options by employees. The above shares in issue of 712,218,920 may be used by shareholders as thedenominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they arerequired to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in,Stagecoach Group plc under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure andTransparency Rules.
