London, 3 October 2016: Ophir notifies the market that, the Company's issued share capital as at close of business on 30 September 2016 was 746,019,407 ordinary shares of £0.0025 each. The Company holds, or will hold 39,926,190 ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore, as at 30 September 2016, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 706,093,217.

Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR").

This announcement is in conformity with DTR 5.6.1.
