HALMA p.l.c. VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Halma p.l.c. ('Halma') confirms that the total number of ordinary 10 pence shares of Halma in issue at 30 September 2008 has increased to 375,230,279. The change results from the issue of shares to meet the exercise of options under the Company's share option plans and the transfer of treasury shares to fulfil awards vesting under the 2005 Performance Share Plan. The number of shares held in treasury has increased to 1,064,792. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Halma is 374,165,487. The above figure of 374,165,487 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Halma under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. |
