Total Voting Rights

In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1 Hiscox Ltd advises that as at 30 April 2010 its capital consists of 404,963,450 Ordinary shares in issue. Hiscox Ltd holds 28,142,874 shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Hiscox Ltd is 376,820,576.

The above figure 376,820,576 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Hiscox Ltd under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
