In conformity with the Transparency Directive, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

 

As at 30th September 2023, the Company's issued share capital consists of 944,492,180 Ordinary 25 pence shares with voting rights. The Company holds 154,796,518 Ordinary shares in Treasury.

 

Therefore, as at 30th September 2023, the total number of voting rights in The Mercantile Investment Trust plc is 789,695,662.

 

The above figure (789,695,662) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Mercantile Investment Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
