TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARES IN ISSUE

The Company's issued ordinary share capital currently comprises 5,768,305,027 ordinary shares of 10p each including 239,434,888 shares that are being held in treasury. Therefore, in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of voting rights for the purposes of calculating disclosable interests in the Company's ordinary share capital is 5,528,870,139.
