Cable & Wireless PLC02 July 2007 Cable and Wireless plc Total Voting Rights: Month-end Disclosure Cable and Wireless plc ("the Company") confirms that on 30 June 2007, its issuedshare capital consisted of 2,516,056,326 Ordinary Shares of 25p nominal valuewith voting rights ("Ordinary Shares"). The Company holds 69,001,728 Ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore, as at 30 June 2007 the total number of voting rights in the Companyis 2,447,054,598. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR"). Changes to the Company's issued share capital since 31 May 2007 relate to:• the issue of new shares on the exercise of employee share options;• the issue of new shares on the conversion of the Company's 4% Convertible Bonds; and• the use of treasury shares on the conversion of the Company's 4% Convertible Bonds.
