Total Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Unilever PLC ("the Company") hereby notifies the market of the following:
The Company's issued share capital as at 31 July 2008 consists of 1,310,156,361 Ordinary shares of 3 1/9p each with voting rights, of which 29,696,994 Ordinary shares are held in Treasury.
The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 1,283,459,367, which is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Unilever PLC shares under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
