Total Voting Rights
In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we would like to notify the market of the following:
As at 30 September 2008, Premier Oil plc's issued share capital consists of 80,835,575 Ordinary Shares of 50p with voting rights. 1,327,461 Ordinary Shares of 50p are held in Treasury, and are not included in the above figure.
The figure of 80,835,575 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Premier Oil plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
