Artilium plc ("Artilium" or the "Company")
Total Voting rights
On 19 May 2008 the Company announced that it had taken control over 1,919,873 Artilium shares pursuant to the Company's Articles of Association.
It has subsequently been established to the satisfaction of the Company that of the 1,919,873 shares, some 60,040 shares were in fact owned by individuals unconnected with Cold Investments Limited but that this fact had not been disclosed to the Company by the legal owner.
The Company has, in its discretion, returned those 60,040 shares to Mellon Nominees (UK) Limited.
Whilst the balance of 1,859,833 shares remain under the control of the Company, they will not be eligible for voting purposes and will be treated as treasury shares.
As a result, the total number of voting rights as at 30 July 2008 increases to 56,928,092 by virtue of the return of the 60,040 shares to their legal owner. The figure of 56,928,092 shares should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
