London, 1 August 2013: Ophir notifies the market that, following the allotment of new ordinary shares on the exercise of share options during June, the Company's issued share capital as at close of business on 31 July 2013 was 588,916,315 ordinary shares of £0.0025 each. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury.

Therefore, as at 1 August 2013, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 588,916,315.

Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR").

This announcement is in conformity with DTR 5.6.1.
