Time Out Market Osaka Opens
Time Out Group plc (AIM: TMO), the global media and hospitality business, is pleased to announce that Time Out Market Osaka opens to the public today.
The first Time Out Market to open in Asia, this is the Company's eleventh food and cultural market and fifth Management Agreement. There are a further five Management Agreements and one Owned & Operated site signed and due to open between 2025 and 2027, and more in advanced negotiations.
Dedicated to bringing the best of the city together under one roof, across 3,000 sqm Time Out Market Osaka offers 17 kitchens and two bars, showcasing a curated mix of the city and Kansai region's top culinary talent. Opening in partnership with Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corporation, the Market is located in Grand Green Osaka - a large-scale mixed-use development featuring offices, hotels, retail and more in the heart of the city and located by Osaka station; The New York Times recently named Grand Green Osaka one of the top places to visit in 2025. The Market opening is in time for Expo 2025 which takes place in Osaka from April to October and is expected to attract over 28m visitors.
As part of Time Out Media's presence across APAC, the brand has been curating the best of Tokyo since 2009 and now - coinciding with the Market opening - it has also launched in Osaka which will further increase synergies between Media and Markets capabilities in the region.
