cloudBuy organises "The Care Act" Events at Party Conferences
cloudBuy plc (AIM: CBUY), the cloud ecommerce marketplace, announces that it will be presenting at the party conferences in a series of events supporting The Care Act. The events will focus on the integration of Health and Social Care and how this affects local government.
The first such event took place yesterday at the Labour Party conference, at which Andrew Gwynne MP, Shadow Health Minister, spoke about the importance of Care and the requirements going forward to an audience of Labour Party members alongside Jonathan Holden, Chief Operating Officer of cloudBuy.
Ronald Duncan, Chairman of cloudBuy commented:
"We are delighted to have a strong group presenting and explaining The Care Act to local councillors at all three party conferences. Care is the largest area of council spend and all three parties are seeking to address the issue of the 90% of people who have to pay for their own care and have previously been left to fend for themselves.
cloudBuy has a significant first mover advantage in the care sector as it expands from its historic local authority funded niche to self-funders who account for 90% of care. cloudBuy is the only organisation with a credible solution in this space, since self-funders need provider ecommerce sites and we are the only organisation providing ecommerce sites in the care space."
