Development Securities PLC25 October 2006 Development Securities PLC Appointed as TfL Partner on the Redevelopment of Hammersmith Car Park in West London Following a detailed selection process, Development Securities PLC has beenchosen by Transport for London (TfL) as their preferred Development Partner forthe Hammersmith Car Park Site. Development Securities were selected ahead ofstrong competition from Helical Bar, London & Regional, Prudential and BritishLand. The 1.5 acre site, immediately adjacent to the Hammersmith & City Line (H & C Line) underground station, is currently used for surface car parking and now represents a significant regeneration opportunity. The timing of the scheme is thought to be ideal as the building is expected to complete in the second half of 2009 and to coincide with the improving commercial market. This landmark mixed-use development, designed by Hamiltons Architects, willinclude offices, retail and an extension to the ticket hall for Hammersmith (H & C Line) Station. The striking design will incorporate best practice forsustainability to meet current and future requirements. Jones Lang LaSalle are TfL's advisors and Atisreal are acting for DevelopmentSecurities.
