West Bromwich Building Society announces that trading in the Society's Permanent Interest Bearing Shares will be suspended with immediate effect pending the announcement of the Court of Appeal decision in the case of Mark Robert Alexander and West Bromwich Mortgage Company Limited which is expected later this morning. A further announcement will be made once the judgement is handed down at which point trading will resume as soon as is practical.
