Announces Its Share of Vodafone Egypt Dividend

 

Cairo, 23 June 2010: Telecom Egypt (TE) (Ticker: ETEL.CA; TEEG.LN), today announces that Vodafone Egypt's (VFE) General Assembly Meeting approved the distribution of EGP 12.50 (Twelve Egyptian Pounds and fifty piasters) per share, to be paid to shareholders in cash on 7/7/2010. Accordingly, TE's share of VFE dividends will totally amount EGP 1.35 billion.

Telecom Egypt (TE), Egypt's incumbent telecommunications operator, started its operations in 1854 with the first telegraph line in Egypt.
