Taronga Tin Project - EIS Exhibition Period Successfully Concluded

First Tin PLC, a tin development company advancing low-capex projects in Australia and Germany, is pleased to announce its wholly owned subsidiary, Taronga Mines Pty Ltd ("TMPL"), has concluded the public exhibition period for its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) as required for Development Approval of the Taronga Tin Project in New South Wales, Australia.

During the four-week public consultation period, only 4 objections were received. As fewer than 50 objections were lodged, the project will now proceed through the standard departmental approval process rather than referral to the Independent Planning Commission (IPC), thereby significantly reducing the likely permitting timeframes and cost to the Company.

This result represents one of the lowest objection levels seen for a State Significant Development (SSD) metalliferous greenfield mining project in NSW in recent years.

First Tin CEO, Bill Scotting, commented:

"This is an excellent outcome and demonstrates a clear sign of strong community support for the Taronga Tin Project. Our local team has worked extremely hard to build trust and to engage with the community, while our specialist consultants, led by RW Corkery, have ensured all environmental aspects were rigorously assessed and addressed.

"Given the challenges faced by other major projects in NSW in recent times, this outcome is very reassuring and represents a significant derisking milestone for the future development of Australia's next tin mine."

Notes to Editors

First Tin PLC is an ethical, reliable, and sustainable tin production company led by a team of renowned tin specialists. The Company is focused on becoming a tin supplier in conflict-free, low political risk jurisdictions through the rapid development of high value, low capex tin assets in Germany and Australia, which have been de-risked significantly, with extensive work undertaken to date.

Tin is a critical metal, vital in any plan to decarbonise and electrify the world, yet Europe and North America have very little supply. Rising demand, together with shortages, is expected to lead tin to experience sustained deficit markets for the foreseeable future.

First Tin's goal is to use best-in-class environmental standards to bring two tin mines into production in three years, providing provenance of supply to support the current global clean energy and technological revolution.
