Sweett Group opens office in Oxford

Sweett Group, the international property and infrastructure consultancy is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Oxford, increasing its regional presence across the UK and Ireland, where it now has over 20 offices. The Group has been operating in the Midlands from its Birmingham office for over 30 years and today's move comes as a result of recent project appointments in the Oxfordshire region.

Sweett Group has delivered a number of high profile projects in and around Oxfordshire, including Stowe Landscaped Gardens Visitor Centre, the largest National trust capital project in the UK, and the John Payne Building at Oxford Brookes University. Sweett Group's education sector experience is one of the strongest in the industry, and includes higher education commissions for the University of Warwick, University of Birmingham, Edinburgh Napier University and University of Cambridge. The Group has also delivered a number of projects for independent schools across the region.

More recently, Sweett Group was appointed to provide project management services on the redevelopment of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, situated next to Magdalen College, in the heart of Oxford. This iconic project blends the architectural features of the traditional Oxford colleges with the forms and styles of the classical period of Islam.

Derek Pitcher, Managing Director, Europe said:

"We are incredibly proud of our reputation for consistent and exceptional service delivery across the UK and today's announcement further strengthens our regional capability. Oxfordshire's geographic location, combined with its thriving business community, make it an ideal place from which to do business."
