Cambrian Oil & Gas PLC20 April 2007 CAMBRIAN OIL & GAS PLC ("COIL") Suspension of trading in shares 20 April 2007 On 12 April 2007 COIL announced that its shareholders had approved the proposalfor COIL shareholders (other than Xtract) to acquire shares in Xtract inexchange for shares in COIL by way of scheme of arrangement under section 425 ofthe Companies Act 1985 (the "Scheme"). The shares in COIL have been suspended today pending the High Court's decisionto sanction the Scheme. A further announcement will be made later today following the decision by theHigh Court.
