Suspension of Dividend Access Plan

The board of Hiscox Ltd (the "Company") announces that, following the shareholder approval of the scrip dividend alternative to the Company's 2010 final dividend at the AGM held on 8 June 2011, the Hiscox Ltd Dividend Access Plan and each contract between the Company and a participant in the Dividend Access Plan will be suspended indefinitely with effect from the date of this announcement, in accordance with paragraph 7.2 of the Hiscox Ltd Dividend Access Plan Rules.
